The repainting works of the Oma forest can be seen from today, in guided tours

As of today, April 1, you can see, in guided tours, the work to repaint the Oma forest. The artistic environment of Kortezubi (Bizkaia) will reopen in October completely renovated.
There are two daily guided tours until September. They are in the morning, from Monday to Sunday, at 10:30 in Spanish and at 12:30 in Basque. It is necessary to make an appointment (phone 94 465 16 57).
In October, when the forest reopens completely, it will have 33 artistic ensembles and more than 800 pine trees, in an artistic route of more than a kilometer. In this phase of the rehabilitation of the Oma forest painted by AgustÃn Ibarrola, 19 sets are being painted. In the summer of 2022, in the first phase, 454 pine trees were painted, making up 14 artistic groups.
