Rybnik’s Eiffel Tower in the Netflix film with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler!

A 15-meter replica of the Eiffel Tower, standing on the Niedobczyce-Paris roundabout, became the unsung heroine of “Killer Wedding” – the latest Netflix hit with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. The construction attracted a film crew to the city, which admits that this non-obvious location was the only chance for the implementation of demanding stunt scenes.

Killer Wedding is a hit Netflix comedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. It follows the adventures of Nick and Audrey Spitz, self-appointed detectives who become involved in the kidnapping of their friend, the Maharaja. Their own investigation leads them to Paris, where the action definitely thickens. The movie is now available on Netflix.

As the producers explain, the action scenes performed by the Spitz were very demanding, which is why the decision was made to find an alternative to such a difficult location as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, which plays a particularly important role in the film. From the behind-the-scenes video, we learn that the filmmakers chose a replica from Rybnik – a 15-meter structure that was erected at the Niedobczyce-Paris roundabout as part of a civic initiative in 2022.

“It was the perfect location to shoot amazing stunts that wouldn’t work anywhere else in the world,” explains Location Manager, responsible for filming locations for the film.

“To turn Rybnik into a real Paris, we recorded the tower from literally every possible angle. It allowed us to capture great action.” explains the special effects expert working on the film.
