Another aspect raises controversy here – the representative of our country, Blanka, will not perform during the concert, although she received an invitation. What could be the reasons for this decision?

Fans of one of Europe’s biggest music shows are counting down the days until May 9 – the start of the semi-finals of the 67th Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. Before the first performances take place, they will be able to hear many artists associated not only with this year’s competition during the Eurovision Party series. The event will also take place in Poland. The composition is quite surprising.

Recently, a series of incidents with the Barcelona Eurovision Party has sparked controversy. 13 performers from this year’s competition presented their skills, as well as m. Eurovision 2004 winner Ruslana, Destiny from Malta, who performed a song from the event that was canceled in 2020, and Eva Santamaria, Eurovision 1993 participant. The latter, like this year’s representatives of Ireland Wild Youth, struggled with technical problems, but unlike the band, she refused continuing a performance that was interrupted due to a sound failure.

However, it was not the biggest slip-up of the Spanish organizers. After the performance of representatives of San Marino, Piqued Jacks, one could hear the audience chanting – “Ronel for Eurovision”. Ronela Hajati, to the disappointment of the fans, lost the preliminaries. The singer distanced herself from the controversial reaction, while supporting rivals from Piqued Jacks.
