An unknown number called a resident of Bochnia, and when he answered the phone, he heard a frightened voice begging him for help. – Good morning. I am in Berlin. I’m calling from a hotel where the door can only be opened with a special card, I can’t find my parents, and people I don’t know are hurting me – on the other end of the phone. After saying these words, the boy hung up. The concerned man immediately informed the police.

The phone call turned out to be a joke of a bored 12-year-old. The boy was instructed
Police officers of the Criminal Department of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Bochnia determined that the location of the number from which the call was made is in Opole, and not in Germany, as the boy claimed. They quickly tracked down the owner of the number and it turned out that the dramatic appeal for help was a joke on the part of a 12-year-old boy. He was supposed to dial random numbers on the telephone keypad and make up a story about the detention. The police checked the prankster’s house and determined that nothing was in danger. He lived with his parents and was safe. No consequences were drawn against the 12-year-old, but he was warned about the legal responsibility of calling the police without grounds.
