The Legend of Rock Symphonic concert. “It was great! The symphony orchestra did the job” [ZDJÊCIA]

In Wrocław, it was filled to the brim with rock lovers. Musicians from the Silesian Philharmonic entered the stage, adding splendor to the event with their exceptional level and craftsmanship. All thanks to a cultural event called “The Legend of Rock Symphonic.”

The event was divided into two parts. During the event, viewers had a chance to hear songs by such stars as Metallica, AD/DC, Scorpions, Linkin Park, Guns N’Roses, Queen, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and many others. The musical setting was provided by the Silesian Philharmonic under the baton of Maciej Sztor, while the vocal parts were performed by outstanding Polish artists. sang the iconic song “Nothing Else Matters” from Metallica’s Black Album and “Rolling on the River” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. The artist in a duet with Piotr Cugowski also performed a song by Tina Turner entitled “Simply The Best”. Among other things, he performed the song The Show Must Go On by Queen. During which there was a pyrotechnic show in the form of bursting flames. The warmth of the fire, felt in the audience during other compositions, was received with equally warm applause. The song in the first part was “Stairway to Heaven” performed by Piotr Cugowski.

The star line-up included such people as , known as the frontman of the band from the former band Turbo, today singing in the CETI formation. In the first part of the concert, the musician, famous for his unique voice, sang a song entitled “Changes” by “Black Sabbath”. In the second part, he sang “Solider of Fortune” by Deep Purple.

It’s hard to choose the best performance. After each performance, the audience showered with applause for each artist. However, when Kupczyk began to sing his original hit, Fri. “Adult Children”, which today celebrates 40 years, a forest of hands with outstretched telephones appeared. The audience turned on flashlights in their phones and loudly singing the chorus, created a unique atmosphere. he also took up the challenge and sang songs such as “Smoke on the water” by “Deep Purple” and “All Right Now” by the 70s group “Free”. Together with Piotr Cugowski, they presented “Whiter Shade of Pale”, which is the debut song of the British rock group Procol Harum.

Who was the best? A difficult choice. The audience loved the violinist and the guitarist

The reaction of the audience indicated that it was difficult to choose the best performance. Musicians and soloists also aroused great emotions. One of them was an outstanding violinist who, each time he entered the stage, caused a storm of applause. This mysterious musician was the winner of the Grand Prix of the 39th International Competition of Young Jazz Bands Jazz Juniors. Saying he has talent is not enough. Also noteworthy is Jakub Kaczmarek, the guitarist of the band CETI. The musician had a chance to show his remarkable skills not only as part of a coherent whole, but also as a soloist. He received thunderous applause after each performance. The female part of the audience did not miss his unique, long and beautiful hair, which as a musician added undeniable charm. Piotr Szpalik, a drummer also playing in the band CETI, gave a show of his skills. In the break between songs, he performed a solo that every lover of strong sound will remember. Fast, precise and exceptionally involved. Brilliant.

Participating in a certain event, you can be more or less satisfied. After all, everyone has the right to subjective assessment. Personally, being there, I couldn’t fault anything. The organization of the concert was at the highest level. The event was massively commented on in social media. It’s hard to get a negative review.
