In interior decoration, new ones are constantly appearing. Some of them are minimalist, others are full of color. A strong accent on the walls are various types of patterns that look expressive and stylish. Many of them can be easily obtained with wallpapers or stencils. Abbey Marie Sherwood showed that it can be done in a completely different way. Just like it was in kindergarten.
Like in art class. Simple, easy and beautiful!
Probably everyone as a child in art class had to deal with this technique. Patterns made with a potato were a great joy and a way to have creative fun. And just like back then, we used poster paints and cardboard to create fancy stamps, so we can also transfer it to interior decorations at home. It sounds abstract, but a certain TikToker showed how great this effect looks.

How to make fancy patterns on the wall? Take a potato and cut it open
All you need is a large potato, which we cut in half, and then we cut out the pattern we choose. Abbey opted for a bow-shaped pattern. I applied brown wall paint to half a potato and then stamped the wall at even intervals. It is worth remembering that this is a way to get a fairly simple pattern, but very effective. Abbey’s TikTok tutorial quickly went viral.
