When allotment gardeners are thinking about removing the remains of branches and plants, often the first thing that comes to mind is lighting a fire. This raises a lot of controversy and is a huge mistake. The smoke produced makes life difficult, and in addition spreads throughout the area, which may result in the need for intervention by the relevant services.
The regulations of allotment gardens prohibit such activities, and burning garbage, even of natural origin, is punishable by a fine of not less than PLN 500. Information can be found in article 145.
This is also mentioned in the date of December 14, 2012, as amended. Article 30 prohibits the treatment of waste outside installations or devices, but exempts natural persons composting for their own needs. This means that you cannot burn plant waste, but you can compost it yourself.
