In 2022, PLN 1,896.13, and now it has increased to PLN 2,157.80. How much benefit can you receive?

Anyone who does not exceed the amount of PLN 1,657.80 may receive PLN 500, i.e. the full amount of the supplement. But what about people who exceed this amount? In their case, the “PLN for PLN” mechanism will be used.

Apart from the fact that the monthly income cannot exceed PLN 2,157.80 gross, several other conditions must be met in order to receive a supplementary benefit for persons incapable of independent existence. Of course, it is not intended only for seniors, as the common name suggests, but it can be obtained by anyone who is over 18 and meets the requirements. What?

You must live in Poland, have Polish citizenship or the right to stay in Poland. In addition, a certificate is required indicating complete incapacity for independent existence, work or service. They must be attached to the application, which is submitted to the paying institution or pension (e.g. ZUS, KRUS).
