Meteorologist Alissa Carlson gave viewers chills when she passed out just as she was about to give the weather report. The host fell to the floor on March 18 during the live broadcast of CBS’s Los Angeles KCAL News program.

However, 24 hours later, Carlson assured his social networks that he feels fine after passing out on live television. In an update on March 19, the presenter thanked those who offered her support as she recovered from “a head injury”.

It’s worth remembering that on March 18, KCAL News co-anchors Nichelle Medina and Rachel Kim announced Carlson for their segment. The meteorologist was shown smiling for a moment, then her eyes rolled back, slumped forward and fell to the ground.

It is not the first time that the weather presenter has a live event

The earlier incident Carlson refers to took place in 2014. The meteorologist, who at the time worked for NBC affiliate KGET in Bakersfield, California, vomited during a broadcast.

Four years later, in an interview with KGET, she talked about the moment on air and how it led her to learn that she has a heart condition.

“I went to the doctor and they said, ‘Have you ever thought about having heart disease?’ I said no. I’m too young for that, I’m very healthy,” he admitted.

The doctor assured him that he had a leaky heart valve that would eventually need to be replaced.
