The haskap berry belongs to the family of the borers. In Poland, it is just gaining popularity and rightly so, because the haskap berries are extremely sweet and full of nutrients. They help in digestive processes, reduce the risk of atherosclerosis and diabetes, have antiviral, antiseptic and antibacterial properties. The plant comes from Northeast Asia, thanks to which it is resistant to even the greatest frost (withstands temperatures down to -35 degrees Celsius).

How to plant this shrub so that it grows healthy and bears fruit nicely? Well, this one can be planted in the fall from October to November and in the spring around April. The berry gives the first fruits in the third year after planting. Likes sunny positions and fertile and well-drained soil. Before planting Kamchatka berries, it is worth enriching the soil with manure or compost. Remember to plant at least two shrubs that will pollinate each other. One can weak and little abundant fruit.
