Snow white is back

The Christmas season kicks off in Village and CityMall with the play Snow White, a Daemon production and directed by Jaime Tamariz. It is a new version in comedy tone of this classic tale that this time will show a more current and very funny Snow White, in the middle of a story full of fantasy where magical characters prevail; with a final message of integration, promoting solidarity, humanity and non-discrimination.

Working against the clock

There are around 70 people involved in this high-level production where new talent is given the opportunity to demonstrate all their capabilities; As it is a large-format production, there is a greater demand for quality in the musical part, scenography, costumes and selection of actors. Director Jaime Tamariz explains that before the pandemic a production of this type began in July; however, for Snow White it started in September.

“This year we had everything designed for when they gave us the green light thanks to the vaccination process and the opening of the authorities, so we began to implement the project in September. In Snow White, the learning opportunity is being given through internships for new generations; There are even guys who are already working with us after finishing their internships. ”, explains Tamariz.

Snow White will have 7 performances and will be presented from December 17 to 21 at the Sánchez Aguilar Theater. Tickets are on sale in shopping centers from October 15 and users can purchase them by accumulating purchase invoices, valid from October 4.

“The interesting thing is to show the great enthusiasm and desire of everyone to return to the theater and enjoy the experience. Synopsis Snow White

The play is a new musical and comic version of the classic story. Snow White is a beautiful and charming princess who is about to celebrate her birthday. Her frivolous and cruel stepmother, jealous of her beauty, will try to get rid of her. During her escape Snow White will meet 7 short people who will help her escape and teach her the true value of friendship. Together with his new friends and his faithful prince, he will face the evil witch and regain his father’s throne.
