The 95th Academy Awards was held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Presenters, journalists, stars and reporters were greeted by a carpet in a powdery, slightly peach shade. The former editor-in-chief of “Vogue” admits that before the decision was made, they experimented with darker colors, but in the end the elegant, champagne fabric won out.

“The color evokes a sunset. It is the color of the sky just before the golden hour” – adds Love and emphasizes that this year’s choice does not mean that the champagne color of the carpet will also appear at subsequent galas.
