There can be many reasons for dry and cracked skin on the hands. When ordinary hand creams do not work, it is worth reaching for an ointment from the pharmacy. Few people know that the ointment, costing only PLN 5, is a unique product for chapped hands.
How to take care of dry and chapped hands? Follow these rules
If your hands are prone to dryness, remember a few rules that will help rebuild and regenerate your hands.
- Every contact with water dries the skin, so after washing your hands, lubricate them with a moisturizing cream. If this is not possible, use the cream at least several times a day.
- Use scrubs. Although it may seem strange, it is scrubs that make our hands nourished and smooth. How? Well, peeling exfoliates dead skin, and thanks to this applied creams are better absorbed. You can use ready-made preparations or prepare them at home, e.g. from sugar, honey and natural yoghurt. Remember, however, to let go of peelings if the skin is wounded and cracked.
- Perform regenerating treatments. Olive oil works great. The fatty acids contained in it will lubricate and rebuild the skin, and the antioxidants will support regenerative processes. Just rub the oil into the skin, leave it for 15 minutes, and then wipe it off with a paper towel.
