Pork tenderloin in marinade is a great proposition for dinner for the whole family. You can serve the dish with potatoes, groats, rice or noodles. For the dish you will need:

  • 4 pork tenderloins
  • 1 tablespoon oil or clarified butter
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of marjoram
  • Salt
  • Pepper

The second step is to prepare the marinade. you need:

  • 2 tbsp French mustard
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons of liquid honey

Finally, the sauce. Prepare:

  • 1 cup of mead
  • 3/4 cup of cream
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard

How to prepare pork tenderloins? Step by step instruction

First, wash and dry the meat with paper towels. Sprinkle the tenderloins with salt, pepper, marjoram and thyme. Put the mustard and honey in a separate bowl and mix. If you want to spice up the taste, you can use Dijon mustard or mix both mustards together. Coat the tenderloins with the prepared marinade and put them in the fridge for at least 2 hours. You can even prepare the marinade the day before, so that the meat has enough time to soak. Fry the tenderloins in a hot pan. Pour them with mead and cook them covered until they are soft. Remove the tenderloins, but keep them warm. Pour the cream into the same pan. Reduce over high heat and wait until the sauce thickens. Finally, add a tablespoon of mustard.
