The new “experience” that occupies the spaces of the Grammy Museum, destined to stay there for a year, shines nowhere with album covers, posters and extreme colors. Instead, it offers a tour characterized not by the abundance of objects available, but by its selective gaze.
This is “Shakira, Shakira: The Grammy Museum Experience,” a new exhibit dedicated to the three-time Grammy winner and twelve-time Latin Grammy winner.
Shakira has not informed Piqué of the date of her move to Miami: why does the ex-footballer’s family consider it “outrageous” that they are taking the couple’s children from Barcelona?
The show formally kicked off on March 4 and, without including references to his new compositions, manages to feel current, the Los Angeles Times reported.
In addition, he emphasizes that there is no reference to Gerard Piqué or his problems with the Spanish tax authorities for alleged tax evasion in the sample, as it is a celebration of his musical career.

“Shakira, Shakira: The Grammy Museum Experience” offers information and objects that attempt to convey to the visitor the importance of the singer in creative terms, highlight her innovative role and highlight her philanthropic work.
Ernesto Lechner, curator of the show, contacted the managers of the Grammy Museum some time ago to propose an exhibition about psychedelics in Latin music.

“I first saw Shakira in Anaheim’s Arrowhead Pond in the late 90’s and realized she was much deeper than anyone would think at first sight (…) What interested me most was the opportunity to meet the real Shakira show”.

The exhibition has four touchscreens with headphones that allow you to listen to 12 songs and watch four videos while reading explanatory texts. In the center of the room is a sound console with several buttons to remix four of his songs.
In addition, you can read and analyze the lyrics of three songs by the artist on a round screen. In the same room is a mini theater where you can see a documentary in which Shakira talks about her career.
In addition, it was Shakira herself who defined the objects that were important to show her professional life.

The red “top” Shakira wore during the recent Super Bowl presentation gives way to an in-between zone, where all of her golden treasures reside, including the second suit she wore at halftime in 2020, the electric guitar she used during the tour of 2018 and a very special headdress.
The third zone features seven designs that have been used in concert or on album covers, such as a colorful feather skirt and the memorable puff bikini she wore on the album cover “Oral Fixation, Vol. 2” (2005).

Nearby, at Gabriel Abaroa Jr.’s permanent mini-theater, a report is broadcast featuring statements by women expressing their views on Shakira’s merits. Next to it is a small installation that allows you to place your cell phone to record a scene that responds to the singer’s most recent TikTok challenge.
There are also two panels focused on Shakira’s philanthropic endeavors and another full of hard facts about the Colombian’s career. At the end, a visual compendium of live performances is shown in the largest mini theater of all.
