“Don’t Look Down” is a cinema for people with strong nerves. The suspenseful film by Scott Mann and Jonathan Frank evokes extreme emotions in the viewers. They could barely see the picture to the end, and yet they praise it.

Foreign has added the thriller “Don’t look down” to the offer. The film premiered on August 4, 2022, and the plot of the production tells the story of two friends who decide to climb one of the highest television towers in America, standing in the middle of the desert.

“Do not look down”. Viewers shake and cry during the screening

Even after such a short description, we can guess that the shots may not be intended for viewers with weak nerves. For Becky (Grace Caroline Currey), climbing is a form of therapy, while Hunter (Virginia Gardner) believes that thanks to the action she will gain more publicity on the Internet. However, it soon turns out that the trip to the 600-meter tower will not be easy even for experienced athletes.

For the next few minutes of the film, viewers watch a tense, terrifying struggle for survival. It’s full of surprises and twists and turns. Many viewers did not expect such great emotions from the production.

The Sun portal cited several reviews in which people familiar with the picture admitted that they reacted to the film with convulsions and even tears.

Damn. I was literally crying, shaking, my hands were sweating until the end credits. What is… An amazing film – we read in one of the opinions.

I don’t mind heights, but OMG, “Don’t look down” made me sick. My legs were shaking while watching this,” added another viewer.

Another person admitted that during the screening she was afraid that she would have a heart attack. Emotions were clearly running high in her.

In an interview with Radio Times, the film’s director Scott Mann said that he got the idea for the production while filming the 2018 film “The Final Stand”.

We shot at a great height and got into an interesting conversation about the fear of falling that is ingrained in all of us, so it could be a great theme for the film.

As you can see, the creators were right.

“Don’t Look Down” is not available on Polish Netflix. The film in our country can be watched via Canal Plus, Player, Polsat box go or the Cineman platform.
