‘Sex Education’ Season 3: when it opens and cast

Series starring high school students are the favorites of teenagers and also of many adults. One of the series with the most audience is Sex Education whose third season will premiere on Netflix this Friday, September 17.

Sex Education is a Netflix original series created by Laurie Nunn and cast by actors Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey and Gillian Anderson. The series returns to the streaming platform with eight new episodes and many adventures for its protagonists.

What will happen in the third season?

Sex Education It premiered in 2019 and from the first moment it became one of Netflix’s star series. Otis is a teenage virgin boy whose mother is an important sex therapist. The protagonist of the series take advantage of his mother’s knowledge and set up a clandestine sexuality consultation at his institute together with his best friend Maeve. In this improvised consultation the students try to solve all their doubts about sex.

Still we don’t know much about season 3 of the series. According to the Netflix synopsis in this installment we will see that “it’s a new year, Otis (Butterfield) has casual sex, Eric (Gatwa) and Adam (Connor Swindells) are officially a couple and Jean (Anderson) has a baby on the way.

In the trailer what we have seen is that Otis returns to the institute with a new look. “What’s on your face?” Asks Eric. “A mustache. I have let it grow this summer », answers the protagonist, who will continue with a tense relationship with Maeve (Mackey). “I don’t care what Maeve does,” says Otis.

Also from the trailer we deduce that the relationship between Eric and his boyfriend will take a step forward. “I’m ready to … You know,” says Adam, who will have to deal with negative reactions from his peers in high school.

The new cast of ‘Sex Education’ Season 3

The third season of Sex Education will be marked by the arrival of a new head of studies at the institute: Hope Haddon (Jemima Kirke). His mission is to change the tendency of some students to give the institute a bad name. “There is a fight for the sexual health of our adolescents. I will get Moordale back on track, ”promises the new head of studies. In addition, Cal Bowman (Dua Saleh), a student who will stand up to Hope, will arrive at the institute.

It will also have a relevant role Peter Groff (Jason Isaacs), director Michael Groff’s brother (Alistair Petrie), who had been fired at the end of the second season. Peter is a more arrogant man although he is more successful than Michael. At the beginning of the third installment, fans will see Michael spending time at Peter’s house after separating from his wife.

In the second season Maeve is reunited with her sister Elsie and her mother, but when it is discovered that Erin (Anne-Marie Duff) has relapsed into drugs, she calls social services. Erin loses guardianship of Elsie and in this third season Anna (Indra Ové) will play the role of the Elsie’s adoptive mother.

The cast of this third season is completed by the actors Aimee Lou Wood as Aimee, Kedar Williams-Stirling as Jackson, Tanya Reynolds as Lily, Patricia Allison as Ola, Simone Ashley as Olivia and George Robinson as Isaac, among others.
