“On the battlefield, the best survive” is the motto of the tournament.
This year the second edition of the GeSports National Videogame Tournament will be held. Registration is open from October to November 19. The video game competition will make its stream live on December 10, 11, 12, 18 and 19.
The tournament aims to: strengthen the collective gamer Ecuadorian, to promote this new economic, technological and social system, according to the new market demands gamer world and consolidate the GeSports Tournament with international expectations.
GeSports (Guayaquil Electronics Sports) was born in October 2020 as a project organized by the students of the Casa Grande University, Audiovisual and Multimedia Production career, in order to provide more opportunities and experiences of competition to the community gamer of Ecuador, reaching an average of 1,900 reproductions online and 60 players.
The categories
- League of Legends: For this category there is a quota of 16 teams, made up of a minimum of 5 members with the possibility of a substitute.
- Valuing: The second category has a quota of 16 teams with a maximum of 2 members.
- Rocket League: This category is handled in the same way as Valorant.
Young people between the ages of 13 and 30 can enroll. Those who are minors must have the authorization of their parents. Registrations are totally free for each team.
The GeSports awards will take place on Monday, December 20, in person, with the proper biosafety measures, in the Casa Grande University auditorium, in Guayaquil. (E)
