Early retirement for those born between 1948 and 1969. Who is entitled to?
Early retirement for those born after 31 December 1948 and before 1 January 1969 is entitled to persons who worked in special conditions or were employed in a special capacity. However, this is not the only condition. Early retirement is payable to a person who:
- has reached retirement age,
- has 20 years (in the case of women) or 25 years (in the case of men) of work experience, i.e. contributory and non-contributory periods,
- has the required length of service in special conditions or a special nature,
- is not a member of the OFE.
Age and length of service are determined in detail depending on the nature of the work. The full list of professions can be found at . Detailed rules are regulated by February 7, 1983.
Earlier retirement. The application itself is not enough, it is necessary to have a valid document
The basis for recognizing that you are entitled to early retirement for people born after 1948 and before 1969, is to have the appropriate entry in the employment certificate. When the employer applies the departmental job lists in specific conditions, the document must indicate:
- type of work strictly according to the list, section and items listed in the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of February 7, 1983,
- job position listed in the relevant list, section, item and point of the ministerial order or resolution,
- the period during which work in special conditions was performed on a permanent basis and on a full-time basis applicable to a given position.
If the employment is for a private company, it is enough that the profession indicated in the employment certificate is included in the list of types of work and positions listed in the Special Working Conditions of February 7, 1983.
