“He is an Argentine god”: Milan “pushed” Shakira to collaborate with Bizarrap, and the singer boasts of her children’s creativity in her productions

Shakira’s latest songs are seen as a clear reference to Barranquiler’s “revenge” for her ex-husband Gerard Piqué’s infidelity and, perhaps although it is not entirely clear, the artist’s children had their share of responsibility when preparing the material.

The artist herself revealed in her recent interview with Enrique Acevedo how Milan and Sasha influenced her latest work, Hola reviews. In the case of Sessions 53 with Bizarrap, Shakira admitted that her son Milan was the one who had the idea and encouraged her with a powerful phrase.

“The Sessions 53 thing with Biza is the result of a proposal from Milan. He told me, “Mom, you have to do something with Bizarrapo. He’s the Argentinian God!”, Shakira mentioned in an interview with Acevedo that was released on February 27.

There, the woman from Barranquilla recognized the “special sensitivity” that children have and added that she usually listens to them “because they have good ideas.” This was the reason why Milan’s proposal did not go unnoticed and he practically fulfilled his dream.

“I remember I have a tape of Milan that he sent to my manager, where he said, ‘Jamy, you have to get my mother to sing with Bizarrap, please,'” Shak explained.

But Milano’s intervention in “Sessions 53″ goes much further, as he even advised his mother when they edited the video shot with the Argentinian producer.

“While we were editing the video, he came over and said, ‘Mom, you’re a little far from the mic, huh. You have to fix this, that and that’. She has a critical eye like her mother. In that sense, it’s very similar in shape,” Shakira noted, as quoted by La Vanguardia.

The singer also recalled that the idea of ​​a robot for the video for the song “Čestitam ti” came from her son Saša, while Milan came with the green light.

“The artwork for ‘Monotonia’ was created by Sasha on her iPad. I didn’t like what the Sony designers sent me. And I said to Sasha, ‘What do you think?’ And he said to me: ‘No mom, I’ll do it for you’. And he took it and put it on his iPad.
