And yet, when she received the award for the best achievement of the entire acting team together with the rest of the cast of the second season of “White Lotus”, there was not a trace of enthusiasm in her.

The Screen Actors Guild in the category “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series” awarded the team of the second season of “White Lotus”. Aubrey Plaza was one of a dozen people who took to the stage to receive the award. She stood next to Meghann Fahy, Will Sharpe, Meghann Fahy, Jon Gries and Theo James. Playing Greg Hunt, the husband of Tanya (the heroine brilliantly played by Jennifer Coolidge), Jon Gries whispered something in Plaza’s ear, and in a fraction of a second the actress’s face showed a grimace of dissatisfaction.

The second time Aubrey Plaza’s annoyance was evident was when F. Murray Abraham was giving a speech. As he emphasized that he was praying for the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, and for peace between Ukraine and Russia, and then shouted “Unity forever”, Plaza says “Jesus Christ” under his breath.
