For the next few years, he lived alone in a small studio apartment. He did not seek a relationship because he was afraid of another rejection. However, when he least expected it, he met a woman with whom he thought he could spend the rest of his life.

It was March 1998. Wysocki took part in the actor’s song festival in Wrocław, where a young cultural studies student, Joanna Tyszko, was present. The girl immediately caught his eye, but he did not dare to approach her. Then his colleague came up with the initiative, who introduced them to each other. “He told Joanna I was a troubled guy, but I was dependable. I usually think about everything in my life for a long time, but everything happened very quickly with Joanna – the actor in an interview with Super Express, adding that after only two months, his beloved moved to Warsaw with him. He started treatment immediately. Although this time I tolerated chemotherapy very badly – he recalled the difficult time. He finally overcame the disease. The culmination of a long battle with cancer was the engagement.
