Additional money to the pension can be counted on by people who have performed a specific function for at least 25 (men) or 20 years (women). We are talking about firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Department or mountain rescuers. If they actively participated in the campaigns and reached the required age (65 for men, 60 for women), they can count on an additional PLN 200 to their pension every month. However, the benefit will not be paid by ZUS, but by the Pension and Disability Institution of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, where an application must be submitted in advance.

A supplementary benefit in the amount of PLN 500 for life and every month will be granted to persons incapable of independent existence, regardless of their age. This will happen if he attaches the appropriate documentation that will confirm the state of health. The supplementary benefit is intended for parents who brought up at least four children. Contrary to the name, it is not only for women. What’s more, just like a pension, it is valorization. Who can get them?

- Men over 65 who raised at least 4 children because their mother died, abandoned them or simply did not take part in raising them for a long time.
The benefit is granted by ZUS. For people who do not receive an old-age or disability pension, it amounts to PLN 1,338.44 gross, i.e. as much as the minimum benefit. On March 1, when the indexation will take place, it will be PLN 1,588.44 gross. In the event that the parent receives a pension but it is lower than the minimum, the supplement will make up this amount. For example, if you now receive a pension of PLN 388, you will receive an additional PLN 1,000 for Mama 4+.
