– Someone got divorced, someone got back together, someone left, someone came back. A lot of women told me – and it touched me very much – that they arranged their house differently to have their own room, or that they bought a screen, that somehow they expressed the need for autonomy, their own space – says about the reception of “Tender Guide “.
Natalia de Barbara: I see many people, probably more women than men, who are tired of living from task to task
Preparing to write “Yarn”, Natalia de Barbara took classes in archery and weaving to – as she says – explore the metaphors that come from her. – I think there is a large commonality between this energy, which I call weaving energy, and the energy that was called or called feminine energy, and between this aiming and what is called – or as the Jungians called – masculine energy – he notes and adds .
I was very tired of using these terms ‘feminine energy’ and ‘masculine energy’ because that’s what it implies that women have feminine, men have masculine. I believe in the combination of these two energies, but I also believe that the world we live in is dominated by the energy of aiming at the goal and I see many people, probably more women than men, who are tired of living from task to task, of living in such energy ‘black or white’.
“A lot of women don’t fit in it, and at the same time they somehow stick to it.” Then I can’t make myself comfortable in my life if I live in this energy, which is, let’s say, my second energy, not the first one – says Natalia de Barbara.
