A member of the TVP program council, Janusz Daszczyński is outraged by the presence of “Booty” in the pre-selections. According to him, the composition is “scandalous” and “obscene”.

The word “booty” is from English “boot, prey”, in slang the term is used as a caressing description of the rear part of the body, literally meaning “butt, ass, buttocks”.
As Daszczyński, quoted by Wirtualne Media, regrets: “Excuse me for the vocabulary, but this ‘ass’ is everywhere.” Aneta Woźniak, program director of Telewizja Polska, explained that TVP had no influence on the songs that were selected for pre-selection, but agreed that this was very problematic.
During the debates, an attempt was made to change the text and compromise with the artist. Analyzing the words written by Pawłowska, we can guess that getting rid of “butts” will be an extremely difficult task. The council has a solution for that too. The members suggested that the “scandalous” song be removed from the pre-selection.
