How much will the 13th pension be in 2023? It will not be tax exempt

In connection with the New Deal last year, the “thirteen” was exempt from tax, thanks to which seniors could count on higher net transfers. This year, that will most likely not be the case, which means that some will get lower transfers. Pursuant to the regulations, only benefits up to PLN 2,500 gross are exempt from tax, which means that only people with very low pensions will not have to settle for an additional transfer. According to the calculations, it applies to people who currently receive a pension of PLN 794 or less. Those who receive higher benefits face a tax deduction.
