Even if you have resigned from saving under the Employee Capital Plans, you must do it again. All thanks to the cyclical autosave, which makes the current declarations expire on February 28. If you don’t submit it again, you will be part of the program.

On February 28, previous declarations of resignation from saving with the help of PPK expire. This means that anyone who does not submit it again must take into account the fact that from April he will be enrolled in the program, which will translate into receiving a lower salary. What is the PPK and what do you have to do to sign up for it? Consent is not needed

Employee Capital Plans, also known simply as PPK, is nothing more than a voluntary, private and long-term program. It is implemented by the employer and also financed by the employee and the state. Importantly, enrollment in it is automatic for working people who:

  • are aged between 18 and 55,
  • are subject to pension and disability insurance.

This means that the consent of such an employee is not needed to be enrolled in the PPK. Those who have not submitted a declaration of resignation from making payments, join it automatically. Application to the program is only required for older persons. More importantly, every four years re-save. Also, when changing jobs, the employee must remember to inform the new employer about the resignation.

There will be a re-enrollment this year. It affects about 8 million people

The next cyclical auto-subscription to PPK is this year. According to the portal, employers have until February 28 to inform employees that their previous declarations are about to expire. They, in turn, should resign from them from March 1and if they do not, they must take into account the fact that in March they will calculate and collect contributions to the PPK, and from April 1 they will be transferred to the financial institution. We are talking about about 8 million people. Please note that you can rejoin at any time.

As a standard, the employee pays 2% to the PPK account. salary each month. Minimum 1.5 percent remuneration is paid by the employer, and PLN 240 is paid by the state after each year.
