There are artists in the Polish music industry who have tried their hand at extreme music genres. One of them is undoubtedly Jacek Stachursky, who has already sung both rock arrangements and produced club compositions. Now, on the wave of nostalgia, he headed a boyband and performed the Polish-language version of the Backstreet Boys hit for one of the advertising campaigns. He was accompanied by influencers.

Advertising products through music evokes mixed feelings – on the one hand, a frequently repeated melody can be irritating, on the other – it can become a hit. After a successful advertising campaign with the participation of Krzysztof Ibisz, Jacek Stachursky is trying to repeat the success, promoting sauces, leading a boyband ripped from the 90s.

Stachursky has been active on the Polish music scene since the 1980s. He started as a vocalist of the rock band Eve, and later became known as the creator of pop and radio hits, including the hit “Typ” based on the melody line of “I Am The One And Only” by Chesney Hawkes Rebellious” or opening credits from the series “Samo Życie”. In 2015, he showed a new artistic incarnation and once again changed his style, this time creating club music. He has collaborated with with DJ BBX, with whom he produced the singles “Kieluszki” and “Essa”, and in 2019 “Doskozzza” was heard at raves. Now we can hear him in an advertisement, in which he sings again in the style of a well-known melody – this time reminiscent of boy bands from the 90s.

Recently, the campaign of marketing companies Pragmatycy, KERRIS, Spokoj Film and Zenith, prepared for ON whitening pastes with the participation of Krzysztof Ibisz, has been very popular. As part of it, a music video overloaded with special effects was made for the song “Uśmiech please” written for the needs of the advertisement. Internet users liked the openly campy style, and the video was viewed over 1.2 million times. Other producers use already known hits, such as Łowicz jams, reinterpreting Anna Jantar and her “So much sun in the whole city”. This time, the brand decided to resume this convention and use the Backstreet Boys’ hit “Everybody” to promote the sauces with appropriately changed lyrics.
