Among the numerous recordings published by the young singer on Instagram, you can find archives dating back to early childhood. She started acting professionally as a 12-year-old, playing in the Profusion band, with which she performed at events organized by the American Polonia. The work of the group was also appreciated in Poland – it received 3 awards during the Festival. Krzysztof Klenczon in Pułtusk, and Caroline was awarded the best voice of the review. Already then, she was distinguished by an exceptionally mature voice, sounding like from a bygone era, which guaranteed her the opportunity to participate in the Postmodern Jukebox project, led by pianist Scott Bradlee, who rearranges contemporary hits to resemble specific musical decades. Baran, as a 14-year-old, had the opportunity to perform Cyndi Lauper’s hit “Time After Time”, and as a 15-year-old she sang m. atmospheric version of “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica. These interpretations were listened to tens of millions of times on YouTube, and the artist went on tour with the PMJ team.
Not only “Idol” and Polish artists
Recently, a Polish woman announced that she auditioned for the new American edition of “Idol”. However, this is not her first adventure in a talent show. In 2018, she took part in the 13th edition of “America’s Got Talent”, where she received 4 “yes” votes, and the chairman of the jury, Simon Cowell, predicted a bright future for her. “You were born to be a star,” he said. For many Polish performers, she undoubtedly already is – in Chicago she made guest appearances, among others in with Andrzej Piaseczny, Mietek Szcześniak, Majka Jeżowska and Micha³ Szpak. She is also the first Polish artist to be invited to perform at the Lollapalooza festival in 2022.

Occasionally, he also gives concerts on Polish big stages, e.g. during the Top Of The Top festival in Sopot or the “Jasna Strona Mocy” Christian Song Festival broadcast on TVP1 in 2021. Perhaps this will change the participation in “Idol”, which, following the example of Sara James, will effectively promote the Polish artist conquering the foreign market.
