Mateusz Morawiecki has been regularly publishing his own podcasts for some time now. “Let’s take a break from great politics for a moment,” the prime minister suggests and encourages people to celebrate love, reminding that “politicians, like all people, also love and watch movies about love.”

Morawiecki admits that since he became prime minister, he has been accompanied by remorse that he devotes far too little time to his relatives and to nurturing love in the family circle. The podcast about the Prime Minister’s favorite romantic films is also a desire to create a list of productions that he would like to watch in the near future with his loved ones.

“First on my list of top romantic comedies, I won’t be original here, is ‘Love Actually’, known in our country as ‘Love Actually’.” The Prime Minister appreciated the production for its multithreading and presentation of various aspects and types of love. The film also makes Morawiecki think about the world with more optimism.

The next item on Morawiecki’s list is a production that he has not yet had the opportunity to watch, but has been recommended to him many times. It’s about the Notebook. The Prime Minister wants to make up for the work as soon as possible, because he admits that he is one of his favorite actors.

This is not the end of movies based on Nicholas Sparks novels, which he included in the playlist of premieres. The politician also appreciates the filming of “Letter in a Bottle”.

“The iron item on the list is the film adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel ‘Pride and Prejudice’. I bet on the version with Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet” – continues Morawiecki.

His “top five” is closed by “Time for Love”.

“I hope to inspire at least some of you to plan nice evenings with movies that will bring you closer to the people you love,” concludes the Prime Minister, but does not end the podcast.

In the next part of the programme, the politician selected films that he recommended to members of the opposition. He dedicated “In Love Without Memory” to the head of the Civic Platform, emphasizing that the film shows how dangerous it is to play with memory. The leaders of PSL and Poland 2050 are suggested by the Prime Minister to familiarize themselves with the plot of “The FiancĂ© Involuntarily”. In turn, according to Morawiecki, left-wing leaders should watch Bareja’s “What will you do when you catch me”, and he recommends “Four Weddings and a Funeral” to Confederation politicians.
