“Boys Don’t Cry” or “Morning of the Coyote” are some of the most popular Polish comedies that have gained the status of cult. For some, participation in films loved by viewers has become a ticket to a great career. Unfortunately, not everyone who was promised fame decided to continue their adventure with the big screen. Let’s recall the actors who created outstanding acting creations, but left the show business.
Viewers loved them. They decided to give up their careers
Wojtek Klata performed in front of the camera from an early age. The best acting performance in his artistic output was the role of Oscar in Olaf Lubaszenko’s film. Although he was predicted a great career, the role turned out to be the last in his filmography. After the end of his adventure with the film set, Klata became involved with TVP, where he appeared as the host of the programs “Burza Brain” or “Sociopaths”.
Tomasz Bajer made his debut in the film “Boys Don’t Cry” as Oskar’s cousin. After filming, Laska also appeared in “Kojota’s Morning”, but after participating in the series “Kosmici”, he resigned from his career. In 2011, he went to Australia and ran a travel blog for 4 years. Later, he lived in Norway for some time, but due to lack of work he returned to Poland. He completed a PDR technician course and now works as a tinsmith.
These actors will no longer be seen on screen. Although they gained the sympathy of the viewers, they decided to disappear from show business
Although Karolina Rosińska has not appeared on the screen for years, she has several significant productions to her credit. When she appeared alongside Maciej Stuhr in the comedy, there was no doubt that the door to her career was open to her. However, after the role of Noemi, she played in the short film “Seven Days”, and later she disappeared. It turned out that the actress left for the United States, where she lived for 15 years. After returning to her homeland, she tried to return to the industry, but acting no longer gave her pleasure. Eventually, she ended her career and took up teaching English.
Do you remember Piotruś from the cult comedy? Although Maciej Koterski played Wolański’s son, beloved by viewers, the roles in the first two films in the series are the only ones in his career. On the occasion of the reactivation of the production, Ilona Łepkowska gave an interview to Jastrząb Post, in which she confessed that Koterski was not related to the film industry and had been abroad for years.
