The evidence confirming this thesis is to be a recording from years ago, in which the older of the artists spoke unfavorably about the singer.

While Nina Terentiew was still working at TVP, she was the host of the “Desolate Island” program. In one of the episodes of the premiere season, in 1992, three singers were the guests of the talk show: Beata Kozidrak and Maryla Rodowicz. The artists recalled the beginnings of their careers, and also talked about joint performances and meetings on stage. At one point, Terentiew suggested that the time of Rodowicz’s greatest fame is slowly coming to an end, and the singer will have to give way to younger colleagues. – There is no denying that until Beata appeared on the stage, dear Maryla – leading us, was indivisibly ruling us. The then 46-year-old artist clearly did not like these words.

decided to emphasize her position on the music scene and after Terentiew’s words, she quickly began pointing out to her younger friend her beginnings in the industry. — I absolutely remember, it was in Toruń, and I had a recital, it was some kind of competition for amateurs. I guess you won. But do you know what I did? I went backstage and asked if she could sing in my choir,” she said about the singer of the Bajm band. Initially, Kozidrak tried to pretend to be unmoved by these words and claimed that she did not remember the meeting the star was talking about. Later, however, she admitted that she and the band got into the “so-called golden ten” in the aforementioned plebiscite.
