A trophy and a financial prize for each winner, Yes, but that’s not important. The most important thing is the honor of having become the best chirigota, the best comparsa or the best choir of the Carnival of Cádiz of 2023. And we didn’t mention a quartet because the first one, without a doubt, was going to be the El Pópulo Gladiator Workshop School, which is the only one that managed to reach the final phase.
After many, many hours (and many days) the Gran Teatro Falla has witnessed the moment in which the COAC jury has announced each and every one of the winners in each modality, after what has been the first “normal” Carnival Group Contest since the pandemic broke out (the last edition was held in summer). The winners have been, in the choir category ‘Los Martínez’, the chirigota of ‘Vamo a escuchá (street chirigota)’, and the comparsa of ‘La ciudad invisible’.
This is how the prizes by modality have been:

- First place has gone to ‘The Martinez’
- With the second prize, those of ‘Tomorrow’
- ‘The voice’ has been in third place
- The fourth prize has been for ‘The blacks’
