The main characters are a group of rebellious teenagers who spend the summer in Bolton. At the instigation of Rochelle (Isis Hainsworth), they download a certain app called Red Rose to their phones. It all makes this summer the worst of their lives.

An app that was supposed to be a good way to pass the time turns out to be a vicious electronic extortionist making terrifying demands on Rochelle. At first, the commands are not extremely terrible, but over time, Red Rose becomes more inhuman and sends tasks that end in death.
The production is supposed to keep us in suspense and is a combination of a youth series with a classic thriller, which also includes a lot of horror. Although most of the problems presented in the production concern those that happen in adolescence, there are also universal social issues, such as poverty or living in a broken family.
The British production consists of eight episodes and is available on Netflix from February 15, 2023. At the moment, only one season has been made, but it is possible that more series will be created soon.
