A graffiti of a housewife, in a 1950s-style dress, pushing her husband with outstretched legs behind an old refrigerator is the urban artist’s latest work banksy.

The drawing comes to life through the use of the old freezer around which the mural is made. As he lies on his back facing the piece, the man’s legs can be seen sticking out of the end.

By paying closer attention to the image, you can see that the woman in the drawing has one eye closed from a blow and is missing a tooth, making the graffiti a reference to the domestic violence against women on Valentine’s Day.

The mural, which appeared on a wall in the seaside town of Margate, in south east England, is titled “Valentine’s Mascara”. Banksy highlighted the woman’s makeup she uses to hide the bumps.

However, local authorities removed the refrigerator when the drawing became known, breaking with the 3D effect.
