One of the participants of the ongoing edition of “” is Piotr Hubert Langfort. Viewers of Polish Television know him from “Sanatorium Miłości”, where he became the King of the Turnus. This time the senior presented his vocal skills on the screen.

During the eliminations for the program, Langfort emphasized that music accompanies him from birth. Apparently, already in his youth he had the pseudonym “Śpiewak”, but he did not decide to study at a music school.
In “The Voice Senior” the artist joined the team of Alicja Węgorzewska, whom he charmed with his performance of “Love Me Tender” presented during Blind Auditions. In the last episode of the competition, the singer took another legend to the workshop – a song by Zbigniew Wodecki.
The song “I like to go back to where I was” is one of the greatest hits of the late artist. However, the composition is extremely demanding in terms of diction, as Langfort himself found out on stage.
While performing the hit, the singer got lost in the lyrics. The participant of “The Voice Senior” fortunately turned out to be a professional, pretended that nothing had happened and continued singing. He supplemented the gaps in the text with purring, and Alicja Węgorzewska came to his aid, who began to sing the missing fragments.

The jurors missed a minor slip-up in their assessments. Similar situations happen even after many years on stage, the most important thing is to be able to come out of them with a face and a smile.
“Of course, don’t worry about what happened, because sometimes I forget the lyrics, too. This is normal,” he consoled the singer.
“Zbyszek Wodecki’s compositions are not easy. It seems to the singers that what it is, everyone can sing it. But you did it, really” – she added.
“Don’t worry that you’ve forgotten a word. I’ll tell you an anecdote from my life. Once I’m standing on stage in a very difficult title ‘The Knight of the Silver Rose’ and one of the best Polish singers is standing next to me and she doesn’t sing anything. The stage manager leans out from behind the scenes and he tells her so loud that the audience must have heard her. She stands still and doesn’t sing a single note. Everyone asks, listen, what happened, are you deaf? And she says: “I didn’t forget the words, I forgot the melody”. it’s a premiere show, so things like this happen, concludes Alicja Węgorzewska.
Despite numerous words of support and sympathy from viewers, Langfort had to say goodbye to the program.
