Doda made her debut at the age of 14. Her career quickly gained momentum
(Dorota Rabczewska) showed vocal skills from an early age, which is why her parents first sent her to a music school, where she studied piano, and then took lessons at Elżbieta Zapendowska’s Vocal College. In the meantime, she had numerous sports successes, training athletics. In 1998, she was admitted to the Buffo theater, where she performed in the musicals “Metro” and “Przeżyj to sam”.
In 2000, she joined the Virgin team and her career began to gain momentum. She gained the reputation of one of the most talented and controversial artists of the Polish music scene. The group’s most popular hits, which have been conquering the charts for a long time, are songs such as: “Dżaga”, “Another time”, “2 Bajki”, “Szansa” or “Another time”. After six years, she ended her cooperation with musicians and began a solo career. After parting with Virgin, she released the album “Diamond Bitch”, which went platinum. Her most popular solo songs are “Don’t let yourself”, “Rany”, “Katharsis” or “Riotka”.
In recent years, Doda has also realized herself as a film producer. The last venture of the star was a movie, which was a huge success.
Two divorces and court battles. The artist was unlucky in love
Although Doda feels fulfilled artistically and constantly surprises with new ideas, her private life has given her a hard time many times. The singer is unlucky in love. She was associated with with Adam Nergal Darski and Emil Haidar, but the relationship did not survive the test of time, the latter of which ended in a court battle. The singer twice stood on the wedding carpet. Her first marriage with Radosław Majdan lasted three years. In turn, she formalized her relationship with her second husband, Emil Stępień, in 2018. The seemingly happy marriage broke up at the end of 2021, and the reason was the overbearing nature of the man.
It seems that fortune smiled on her again. In November 2022, Doda announced that she was in love again, and her current partner is Dariusz Pachut, with whom she celebrates her 39th birthday during a ski trip to Tyrol in Austria.
