Leszek Pniaczek was 59 years old. He was born in Myślenice in 1964. He managed to appear in such productions as: “The Tale of Józef Szwejk and his way to the front”, “Adventures of the good soldier Švejk”, “Klan”, “Majka” and “Meetings with Ballad” . The Union of Polish Stage Artists informed about the actor’s death, which issued a special statement on Facebook:
It is with great regret and sadness that we inform you that the actor, director – Leszek Pniaczek has passed away. He was 59 years old. Actor of the stages of Krakow’s theaters, long-term director of the Cultural Center in Dobczyce, theater instructor, founder of the Teatr im. card. Karol Wojtyła in Myślenice and the unforgettable Ax from “Meetings with a ballad”
Leszek Pniaczek was associated not only with television, but also with theatre. He is a graduate of the State Higher School of Theater in Krakow. He graduated with honors in 1987. Later he played in Krakow’s Bagatela and Ludowy theaters.
It turns out that the actor has been ill for a long time. He had wonderful friends who tried to raise money, among others. for necessary medicines, dressings and medical care. The actor also struggled with diabetes – the disease was under control until 2018, when he was hospitalized. There she was diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy with maculopathy, glaucoma, complicating cataracts of both eyes, hypertension, chronic pancreatitis, and stage 3 chronic kidney disease.
The actor also fought sepsis at the end of 2021, and a diabetic wound appeared on his heel. Leszek Pniaczek used a wheelchair and was hospitalized several times.
As highlighted on one of the local portals, his favorite saying was:

The funeral mass will be celebrated in the Parish Church in Stradom in Myślenice on February 9 at 14.00. Half an hour beforehand, a rosary will be said for the deceased.
