The longest-running game show on Polish television is “One of Ten”. The format was borrowed from the British “Fifteen to One” and in 1994 the native version was broadcast. Viewers liked the program so much that it has over three thousand episodes – 134 series. In the age of the Internet, it’s easy to come across compilations of funny performances by participants or not very thoughtful answers to questions. For almost 30 years of broadcasting, the host did not avoid slip-ups either.

Despite this, he has been criticized several times for accepting or, on the contrary, not recognizing questionable answers. One of the more famous cases was the approval of “Pacific Ocean” when the correct answer should have been “Pacific” or “Pacific Ocean”. In December 2017, however, there was a situation where he misled a participant. How many times have the Olympic Games been held in South America? The participant replied that once, having in mind those from 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. In fact – on August 3, the Summer Games of the XXXI Olympiad in Brazil began with a football match. However, the player’s claim was found to be incorrect.

Neither the participants nor the production responded to the error. However, he was pointed out after the broadcast, and Tadeusz Sznuk explained the situation in one of the interviews. It turned out that the player was successfully returned to the program and he was offered to appear in the next episode after a shortened waiting time.
