Latin American rock classics in flamenco show in La Bota

The dance company will present a show with 18 choreographies in Las Tablas del Malecón del Salado.

The classic themes of Hombres G, Charly García, Bon Jovi, Soda Stereo, AC / DC, The Beatles Nirvana, Among others, they will be the ones who musicalize the show Rock Flamenco, which this Friday the 12th will be part of the proposal that the Ecuadorian company Mambra Flamenco will present.

The performance of this group, which will be seen in Las Tablas Café Concert in La Bota, of the Malecón del Salado, has at the head Ayeh pine, who created this group as a result of his specialization in this artistic branch since he was 15 years old.

Pino, 23, began to formally perform with Mambra Flamenco since 2018. Currently it is made up of five dancers (Ayeh Pino, Mariangel Vera, Gabriela Alarcón, Giulianna Ferretti and Francesca Pinoargotti), including a 9-year-old girl.

Pino, who also serves as coach, also ensures that part of his mission as a dancer and coach is to foster and strengthen the skills of new talents. The man from Guayaquil studied dance in Ecuador at two academies and later continued to specialize via online with other teachers. “I have always thought that for one to become an artist, one must take classes with different teachers in order to discover your own essence”, Add.

The show November 12-19 was conceived during the pandemic. Pino’s musical background comes in addition to the artists that since childhood he grew up listening to at home.

“In the pandemic I started uploading videos on his Instagram dancing flamenco fusion and people started listening to him and that’s when I decided to put together the show since June that is going to be presented now. East show it is one that fuses flamenco technique with songs from the best of rock in Spanish and English “, he maintains.

This show was previously presented on the pHistorical Arch. In total there are 18 choreographies on stage.
