Bill from “The Last of Us” is a man who has difficulty trusting, treats others with distance and seems at first glance that he cares primarily about himself, but hides a good heart. So is Ron Swanson, the boss of the main character of the series “Parks and Recreation”. The series by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, which premiered in 2009, showed the work of officials from the Department of Parks and Recreation in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. Ron Swanson is a dry and deadly serious libertarian who loves stereotypically masculine pursuits such as hunting and woodworking (which is also Offerman’s hobby). His trademark is the fact that he constantly repeats how little he cares about the private lives of his colleagues, although in fact they are close to him, as well as his neatly trimmed mustache.

Privately, Nick Offerman has been married to Megan Mullally, known for example from the sitcom “Will & Grace”, for over 20 years. They met while working on The Berlin Circle in 2000 and married three years later. In 2019, they started recording the “In Bed with Nick and Megan” pocast, in which they talk about their private lives.
Mullally played his ex-wife in Parks and Recreation.
