A high school teacher who wanted to sing but decided to teach to lead by example – that’s how Tom Ball can be described. “Competing with the winners of different editions is stressful, but it also makes me try harder,” explains Ball. – I wanted to participate in “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” because it’s another opportunity to inspire my students. Simon Cowell: What you’re doing is something we don’t expect at all

The charming teacher, entering the stage of “America’s Got Talent: All Stars”, was clearly nervous, but from the first to the last note he sang fantastic. His interpretation of the song “Sound of Silence” moved the viewers and jurors of the program. The singer got the last “golden button” that they could press in this edition of the show.

The 24-year-old got a huge round of applause after singing the last note, but Simon Cowell, known for playing with the participants’ nerves, began: “Tom, actually I’m a little angry …” he said, continuing: That it wasn’t the first time I heard you . Then he added:

You’re like Sudan Boyle’s grandson because what you’re doing is something we don’t expect at all. This is the best performance I’ve seen in any series of this show.

Susan Boyle was a participant in the British “Mam Talent” – in the third series in 2009 she took second place, already at the auditions becoming a legend after performing “I Dreamed a Dream” from the musical “Les Miserables”. The video of this performance was a You Tobe hit and Boyle was covered by the press around the world.

America’s Got Talent: All Stars also featured comedian Axel Blake, who won the UK with Ball. This time, however, he failed to make it to the finals.
