This is how the (unofficial) scores of the comparsas go in the COAC 2023

Every year, dozens of troupes They participate in the Official Contest of Carnival Groups (COAC) of Cádiz, along with many other types of musical groups. In 2023 they are 52 of the 131 participating in the qualifying phase, which runs from January 21 to February 4. In Cádiz, Francisco José María del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Alba Medina, better known as Paco Alba, the creator of this carnival formula so traditional of the city of Cádiz and which has been part of the COAC since the sixties. The comparsa is a chirigota with more classa kind of stylized chirigota, less parodic and more poetic, with a more elaborate repertoire.

It must be taken into account that none of these scores are official from the COACbut it is the alternative juries who are scoring, as the phase progresses, each of the comparsas (and also the rest of the groups).

The official scores will not be known, some of them, until the qualifying phase is over: at this time the names of the the comparsas that will go to the quarterfinalsbut not their scores, and the scores of the comparsas that are left out of the contest will be made public.
