Unforeseen situations during TV performances happen even to the best, as proved by the participants of the current edition of “America’s Got Talent: All Stars”. Previously, they successfully competed in talent competitions twice. This time, however, they did not avoid a dangerous slip-up.
They danced true love
The acrobats forming Power Duo have been working together for many years – they were brought together by a dance teacher. At first, they couldn’t come to an agreement, but the more they practiced, the more they felt that they were soul mates after all. In the program they found not only recipients of their art, but also love. Emotions took over and already during the first appearance on television, Gervin confessed his feelings to his partner, Anjanette, with whom he shared a passion for years.
Not only this gesture, but above all the moving dance convinced the jurors, and one of them, Robin Padilla, awarded the emotional choreography with a gold button, thanks to which they automatically reached the semi-finals. At this stage, they did just as well, getting more than half of the audience’s votes. Ultimately, they won the 5th season of the Philippine edition of “Got Talent”, winning 2 million yen and at the same time going down in the history of the program – they were the only participants of the domestic edition at that time who did not win by singing.
It wasn’t just dancing, it was true love. And today love wins.

For the American competition, the couple prepared a touching choreography to the song “You Are The Reason” by Calum Scott and Leona Lewis. The audience was impressed by the acrobatics in the air, however, when the gymnast was at a considerable height, she did not grab the auxiliary rope. This fact did not go unnoticed by the shocked spectators, who sighed significantly, and the judge Howie Mandel. After the performance, which, despite a minor failure, ended with thunderous applause, he decided to ask the couple about the failed element of the show.
