Tonight fonseca will offer a concert in Guayaquil as part of his tour Traveling Tour. The Colombian artist is already in the Pearl of the Pacific, after singing in Quito, in a show that he has described as amazing; and it is that for the creator of the almost legendary I send you flowers Ecuador is like your second home.
“I am not one of those who can go away for three months and not return home”: Fonseca talks about life on tour having a family, fame and his love for Ecuador
This was demonstrated this afternoon in a meet and greet with his fans in Guayaquil, where he did not miss the opportunity to reconfirm that his international career and his first concert outside of Colombia was in Quito. “This country was the first, after Colombia, to open its doors to me”said at the meeting organized by Radio Disney.
“The affection I have felt, the connection with my music from the beginning has been very deep”said the Colombian.
He also said that he knows some corners of the country. “I have been lucky and fortunate to cover a large part. We have played in many places in Ecuador. We have traveled it by land, by air”, said.
And therefore Ecuadorian food has also conquered his palate, especially when it comes to cebiche, a dish that he always seeks to try wherever he goes; being the one from Ecuador his favorite. “I am the number one fan of cebiches. I like the way they do it, I like how they mix it…”, express.
The meeting was marked by personal anecdotes, laughter and of course songs from his old and new repertoire, which was born from a record that was born in the pandemic and in the warmth of his home. This new album called Traveler and that includes songs like Let’s fall in love again, Kisses on the forehead, What happened to us, To be able to say goodbye, among others.
One of the questions in this intimate meeting with his faithful followers was the question of collaborations. “I really believe in collaborations, but when they flow naturally, when there is mutual admiration, beyond the fact that it is a strategy…”, expressed the artist who has had colleagues such as Greeicy, Cali Y El Dandee, Andrés Cepeda, Nahuel Pennisi.
Fonseca promises that his concert will be a journey through the most important songs in his repertoire in these 20-year career. “We have worked very hard on the arrangements, on the repertoire, on the images on the screens, on the editing, on the sound, on everything”.
Fonseca will sing tonight at Coliseo Voltaire Paladines Polo. (AND)
