He dragged a car weighing 1.5 tons with his eyelids. “I also decided to take a plane”

There are many automotive achievements in the Guinness Book of Records. British woman Elizabeth Simpkins has broken the record for the longest parking time in a car. Originally from Italy, Maria Lucia Mungo owns a Fiat 500 completely covered with human hair. In Germany, the record for the longest kissing of a car has been broken. A Chinese man decided to write himself in the book by doing an equally strange thing. He dragged the car using the rope attached to his eyelids.

Guinness records. Where did they come from? What is their story?

The Guinness Book of Records is published annually in London by Guinness World Records. It contains documented and confirmed records broken in the past year around the world. It was first published by the Irish brewery Guinness in 1955, but the history of the book begins many years earlier. In 1752, Sir Arthur Guinness received an inheritance from the Archbishop in the amount of £100. He decided to invest the money and leased a brewery in Leixlip, and three years later took over the poorly performing St. James’s Gate Brewery. This is how the world-famous black and bitter Guinness was created.

What is the connection between beer and the book of records? In 1951, brewery director Sir Hugh Beaver quarreled with his companions about European game birds. There was an argument about which of the birds was the fastest. sir Hugh Beaver began to record the results of this and other disputes in Irish pubs. The idea turned out to be successful, and more volunteers began to come to Beaver, who wanted to prove their records.

A Chinese man moved a car weighing 1.5 tons. He did it with his eyelids

There are many peculiar records in the Guinness Book of Records. Dragging, lifting weights or reaching dizzying speeds is not surprising when we check the record broken by Dong Changsheng from China. He decided to drag the 1.5 ton car with ropes attached to the lower eyelids. He managed to move the vehicle a full 10 meters. This is impressive, and the record will certainly not be broken any time soon.

Dong Changsheng is not slowing down. The next challenge was… the plane

Donga Changsheng took up another challenge and decided to pull the plane in the same way. In one of the interviews that he would be able to give even more.

I’ve dragged a car with my eyelids before, but this was the first time I decided to take a plane… I honestly didn’t use my full strength and I think I could probably pull it three times the distance. I built up the strength of the body to do it, but it would be very dangerous for ordinary people
