18 films from 13 countries, in the next edition of the Punto de Vista festival

Euskaraz irakurri: 13 herrialdetako 18 pelikula, Point of View jaialdiaren hurrengo edizioan

The XVII International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra Point of view will feature 18 films from 13 different countries, which will be screened between March 27 and April 1 in Pamplona as part of a program with up to six world premieres, in which reflection on the past is presented as one of the main themes .

In the Official Section of this edition, the festival presents ten feature films and eight short films, selected from more than 800 titles from more than 60 countries. Highlights include “Bide bazterrean hi eta ni kantari”, in which the musician Peru Galbete approaches the figure of the poet Joxan Artze, and “Al borde del agua”, a collaboration between María Elorza and Iñigo Salaberria, an artist who died in September 2022. .

These titles may win the Punto de Vista Grand Prize for Best Film, the Jean Vigo Award for Best Director, the Best Short Film Award -endowed with 3,000 euros and sponsored by EITB-, the Special Audience Award for Best Film or Youth Award for Best Film.

As every year, this cultural event will have seven sections: Official Section, Retrospectives, Spotlights, Lan, Contacts, X Films and the Mediation Program.
