The Jana School of Performing Arts premieres its first musical this Sunday 29

At the end of the first school year of the Jana Schoola Spanish franchise present in several countries, which stands out for the comprehensive preparation of children and young people through musical theaterhis students prepare their first show.

The chosen work will be an emotional adaptation of the drama Antigone, from Sophocles. in the staging More than 70 students between the ages of 6 and 16 participate from the renowned art school.

The musical titled Antigone has a plan recounts the adventures of princess antigone to unmask the crimes of his uncle, King Creon, and the soldiers who support him to bring justice to the town of Thebes. All with varied elements, such as princesses, kings, palaces, philosophers, witches, vultures, magic, zombies, battles and morewhich will add to the climax of the fantastic story.

Theatricality is complemented by songs and fun choreography that will transport the public that attends the main stage of the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar on a journey through Ancient Greece.

The objective of the theater is to show its audience the result of a year of learning and provide a scenic space where small future Ecuadorian artists will be able to express their art and fully develop.

This Sunday, January 29, you can enjoy the show in three functions: at 10:00, 14:00 and 17:00. The single ticket has a value of $15 and is on sale on the theater’s website and at its ticket offices.
