How to clean the iron so that it does not stain? Pour half a cup of vinegar inside

Regular cleaning of the iron will help to avoid problems. Even if the soleplate appears clean, scale may already be building up inside the iron. How to do it?

  • Mix half a cup of distilled water with half a cup of vinegar. You can also use filtered tap water.
  • Pour into the iron tank and start the device.
  • Set the highest temperature. When the equipment is hot, lift it to a horizontal position and activate the steam function.
  • Hold the iron over a cloth or towel. During cleaning, limescale residues may come out of the interior.

After a few minutes, disconnect the device and pour out the rest of the mixture. Pour distilled water once more, turn on the device and run the steam function several times, to get rid of the residue. Pour off, wipe your foot dry. Use a cotton swab to remove any scale deposits left in the steam holes.

Apply it on the burns and leave it for 15-30 minutes. After this time, gently scrub the soleplate and carefully remove the remains of the paste.
