Until January 31, the first edition of Ellipsea festival of university, national and international short films, presented by the FestiCineGye Foundationorganizers of the Guayaquil International Film Festival.
The festival brings together works from various universities, such as Casa Grande, Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil, University of the Arts, among other. “Ellipsis is a program created to disseminate the work of national and international film students”, indicate the organizers in a statement.
Each of the short films is screened virtually through the YouTube channel called FestiCineGyeFilmotec. Among the films are one night elsewhere, Window, evoke, Where is the hope?, Boom Boom Boom, cloitrée, among others.
The public will also be able to access live interviews with the participating students and audiovisual professionals from Colombia and Brazil from the festival’s official Instagram account: @festicinegye. For 9:00 p.m. today, Monday, an interview is scheduled with marlene olveradirector of the short film Where is the hope? (YO)
